I think in my past life I was Italian, anything pizza and pasta send my way! It is probably a small addiction of mine. So I am always finding ways to make the classic recipes different and healthy too!
What you need:
Ground turkey
Ground spicy sausage (I use Trader Joes spicy sausage I find it has the best flavor)
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion salt
1 teaspoon of chili flakes
1 egg
1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix evenly
Roll into small balls and place on a baking sheet with parchment paper
Bake for 20 minutes flipping half way through
I served this with marinara sauce over homemade zoodles!
