Sesame Ginger Seared Flank Steak Stir Fry

New year, new recipes! I got this new journal that has been helping me organize my recipes and grocery shopping so it has made me really excited to create some new stuff for my cute hubs, and all of you this year!

What you need:

1 flank steak

2 1/2 table spoons of sesame oil

1 teaspoon of grated ginger

4 tablespoons of olive oil

1 table spoon of teriyaki sauce

Desired vegetables (TJ’s has a good stir fry vegetable kit) if not I do: snap peas, broccoli, bell pepper, onion, mushroom and baby corn

Salt and Pepper

Directions:

In a marinating bag for the steak, combine steak with 2 table spoons of sesame oil, 2 table spoons of olive oil, grated ginger, teriyaki sauce - allow to marinate for at least four hours

Heat a cast iron skillet on the stove top on high and once it is hot sear the steak for two minutes on each side

Once the steak is seared, move to medium heat, and cover the steak cooking on each side for four more minutes and then let rest with tinfoil covering on cutting board

In the skillet add all the vegetables with remaining olive oil, and salt and pepper and cook until desired consistency for vegetables

Serve and enjoy!
