Roasted Heirloom Tomato Broccoli Pasta Bake






This recipe is very simple, and has such a unique and wonderful flavor! This is great for an easy weeknight dinner that you want to throw together quickly


What you need:

5 Heirloom Tomatoes

1 full clove of garlic

1/4 a cup of cream

3 heads of broccoli or 1 bag of broccoli

1 tube of ground sausage

Ricotta

1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon of salt

1 table spoon of cracked pepper

1 teaspoon of chili flakes

Desired pasta

3 table spoons of olive oil

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

On a baking sheet place heirloom tomatoes, with a little olive oil and salt and pepper, and garlic clove on baking sheet

Cut the top off the cloves of garlic and cover in olive oil

Bake for 40 minutes

Roast broccoli with olive oil and salt for 20 minutes in oven

Place tomatoes and garlic in blender, and add all remaining seasonings and blend until puréed

In a skillet, cook ground sausage until fully cooked and broken into small pieces

Boil pasta and set aside

Combine sauce, pasta, broccoli, and sausage mixing evenly, and top with ricotta!

Serve and enjoy!
