I love this easy recipe for lunch. Its simple, healthy, and fills you right up!
What you need:
1 lb of ground turkey
1/2 a cup of chopped pineapple
1 egg
1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion salt
1 teaspoon of chili flakes
1 cup of very yeri teriyaki sauce
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients into one bowl except for the teriyaki
Mix evenly, and then roll the meatballs into small balls and place in a skillet on the stove on medium heat
Drizzle with a little bit of olive and cover the pan allowing the meatballs to cook for five minutes
Rotate the meatballs onto a new side cover and cook for another five
Continue until the meatballs are booked through (should be about 12-15 minutes)
Once cooked through, pour the teriyaki sauce and increase up to high heat searing the meatballs in the sauce
Serve over desired veggies and starches
I cook the veggies in the excess sauce to add flavor and then have a teriyaki bowl.
Serve and enjoy!
